How to install

For MacOS

Go to the official site of Anaconda and download the Python 3.X version from "Download anaconda".

In the Finder window, click on the saved exe file and start it。

Anaconda3-5.0.1-MacOSX-x86_64.pkg

Install the software according to the instructions of the installer. Select "Install for Just Me" and "Add Anaconda to my PATH environment variable".

Start a new Terminal. Type "python" in the Terminal window to start python version 3.

[Notice] (2020/05/03 added) From macOS catalina (10.15.x), the default shell has changed from bash to zsh. Therefore, the shell initialization file has changed from ~/.bash_profile to ~/.zshenv. As of May/03/2020, anaconda does not seem to support this change. In this case, manually copy the anaconda description added to ~/.bash_profile to ~/.zshenv.

Add to ~/.zshenv
